Guest Room Automation
From the digital assistant to the smart eco thermostat the aim of these products
is to enhance the guest's experience by giving the guest a sense of being provided
advanced guest room technology. The table top controller offers control of the electrical
devices and lighting within the guest room.
The guest room digital assistant is a powerful multi-purpose device providing convenience
via touch screen to control room temperature, lighting, blinds and curtains, alarm
clock, radio and telephone access. It displays guest services information and communication
functions within the hotel departments, for room service and butler calls, DND/MUR
as well as other web based information creating a guest friendly hotel room. For
the hotelier the guest room digital assistant offers monitoring and reporting, such
as housekeeping and maintenance reporting, mini bar usage, noise tracking and reporting,
utility cart tracking as well as staff tracking.
The smart digital thermostat offers the guest additional information such as humidity
control and outside temperature display as well as digital display of temperature
plus control of other electrical devices such as lamps or lighting connected to
a bus network. For the hotelier the on-board infrared sensor allows for occupancy
reporting for housekeeping and automatic control of lights and HVAC when the room
is unoccupied using the occupancy set back system function. Wireless capabilities
allow information to flow to the central server regarding, balcony door, mini bar
and smoke detector status.
